Our program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience and a deep understanding of scientific principles. Students will participate in laboratory experiments and scientific projects that are designed to foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. Medical case studies are presented, and brainstorming sessions are carried to aid in development of young minds to envision a career in health science.
“At Center for DNA-Guided Medicine, I was able to learn what a real lab environment is like and familiarize myself with lab equipment. During my time there, I interacted with patients, learned about all different kinds of procedures and tests and was even able to test my own DNA! Familiarizing myself with this kind of environment helped me find direction in what I want to study and what direction I would like to take in my career. I would recommend any student with interest in STEM soak up this opportunity and learn as much as they can about science and themselves.”
Our high school curriculum is divided into two modules, A and B. Each module has a 40-hour completion requirement. Therefore, a total of 80-hours is needed to finish Modules A and B. For each module, students will be instructed for a total of 40-hours, stretched over 3 or 4 months depending on the option chosen. Some of the highlights of the program include -
Timings: Our program has two daily sessions (monday through saturday). Sessions I and II are held from 3 pm to 5 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm, respectively. The student must physically be present for class and finish a 40-hour program module that consists of both theoretical and clinical laboratory practicum. However, if you decide to take the module for 3-months, you can pick any two days of the week (except Sunday) to attend for a 1.5-hour session each day. The student may pick any weekday (other than Sunday) for a 2-hour session if the module is to be completed over a period of 4-months. The timing on Saturday may differ according to availability.

Students can come with their parent/legal guardian to take a tour of our facility and consult with our program coordinators. This session lasts for approximately an hour and is FREE to give students a chance to explore and interact with state-of-the-art equipment.
Our middle school program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn from experienced educators and engage in hands-on activities designed to foster curiosity and critical thinking. Students are taught the structure and operation of clinical laboratories that stand behind patients in providing exceptional clinical care.
“The summer camp at The Center for DNA guided Medicine was an exceptional experience for our daughter Anna. She has always been interested in science and wishes to pursue a career in medical research, possibly specializing in pharmacogenetics. The team at the center, especially Mohan and Aleks, were so very inspirational, energetic, and passionate about teaching the students in a very unintimidating manner. They are both extremely knowledgeable in their field and shared their knowledge in the lab, assisting the students with various lab testing including DNA extraction, pipette use, PCR testing, etc. Our daughter was ecstatic each day she came home from camp, ready to discuss what she learned that day! Her smile and excitement in her voice was all that we needed to reassure us that enrolling Anna in the camp at Center for DNA Guided Medicine was the best investment we could have made in our daughter's future.”
Our middle school curriculum spans across 3 modules, Module A, Module B and Module C. Each module is set for a total of 18 hours to be completed. Therefore, to complete all three Modules A+ B +C a total of 54 hours is required. For each module students will be instructed for a total of 18 hours, stretched over 3 months. Some of the highlights of the program include -
Timings: Our program runs two sessions per day - Session-I from 3:00PM-5:30PM and Session-II from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. The student is expected to physically attend classes and complete an 18- hour program module which includes theory and clinical laboratory practicum. The student has a choice of selecting any one day of the week (except Sunday) to attend a 1.5-hour session. Each module is expected to complete over a span of 3 months.
